I was jamming around and started singing, "one look from your eyes, you searched my soul", and then I started to hook up lyrics around the theme of one. It was logical to try the same for verse two. I was going to do a third verse based on three (three persons that we know but they are one, three days in the tomb out came the son). I thought three verses might be tacky and too much of a good thing. Amazing Love is a simple song with a big message. I heard recently that the love of God is like water, it’s restless until it flows to the lowest place on earth. That’s how we all get reached by Jesus. His love finds us in our lowest place and lifts us up and out. Wow amazing!
