Hear Us Call

I was feeling pretty empty and worn out. It seemed I had lost all power and authority in the journey. I was remembering the night that I first encountered the Spirit at age 17. No one was in a hurry to go home. We were just hanging around praying and waiting on God and he began to move among us. What happened in my high school as a result of that was amazing. I see in the book of Acts that they were always being filled with the Spirit. Whatever a person’s doctrinal bent on how that looks, the fact is we need the Spirit to fill us and refill us. This is pretty obvious to any one that has ever tried to minister in their own strength. "Hear Us Call" is a prayer that took place one Wednesday morning in my living room. I was by myself until he showed up and "began to rearrange". We all need seasons of refreshing and refilling.
Standing here, waiting
Father make us one
We wait for your outpouring lord here
We can’t go out till you fill us empty what can we do
God of heaven we confess our need of you
I see the fire falling I feel in me a start
As we begin to worship with heavens language
in our hearts
I hear the strong wind blowing
As you begin to rearrange
Something tells me things are about to change x2
Holy Spirit hear us call
Come on one come on us all
Fill us now fill us now x2
