This song was written after reading Rev 19:11-16.  Travis and I felt that the verses bring the worshipper to a great place of awe and reverence but we were never really happy with the chorus.  After several versions were tried, I met with Brian and we collaborated on a new chorus melody with some new and old lyrics.  This song took a year from start to finish.  The anthem of the chorus sums up the great day of the Lord when every knee will bow and tongue confess that Jesus, the one betrayed, mocked and distained by kingdoms past and present, the one who gave his Love to a world who mostly still rejects Him, the one who patiently still saves sinners like us, this Jesus is worthy now and he’ll be worthy then, just like he has and has always been.
